We are committed to protecting your privacy whilst using our website and applications. We will collect no personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us.

Web Site

The Search Maker Pro web server collects and saves only the default information customarily logged by internet server software. For each http request received, the date and time, the originating IP address, the object requested, and the completion status of the request is collected and saved.

We analyze these logs to determine the amount of traffic through the server, the number of pages served, the level of demand for various pages and referral information. We summarize the logs to determine statistical information on the type of browsers and operating systems that are being used to access our pages.

We receive and store any information you enter on our web site or give us in any other way, such as by email. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, improving our site, and communicating with you.

Online Store

Information submitted through our order forms is stored in a customer database. This is used to provide you with technical support and services. We will never sell this information to any third parties nor use it for any other reason that that stated.

Application

The application is Internet enabled. It can request and receive information over the Internet.  It does this by using the Microsoft Internet Transfer Control.  This is used to request and receive web pages via HTTP.  The dial-up or direct connection to the Internet is gained from the users standard Internet Explorer settings.

The application does not request or receive any other information over the Internet other than the web pages that the user is indexing.

An authentication code is written to the generated search.html file.  This helps with the customer verification process for technical support purposes. The authentication code is not the registration key that you are given when you purchase the application.  It is the administration code that can be viewed by selecting Help > About within the application.
